  sir

i want to know how to detect and kill criminals when robot is simple line follower and criminals lie to its left or right direction.

Yes, the four sets of eight

Yes, the four sets of eight pins in the micro-controller board picture represent the different ports - P0, P1, P2 and P3. There physical arrangement can vary from one board to another, as it depends on the manufacturer of the micro-controller board.

Both the circuits are same the only difference being that in practice we usually make connections on the back side of the board. Thats why it appears to be different than the schematic circuit diagram.

I am referring to PIN

I am referring to PIN DESCRIPTION OF 8051  circuit diagram. (http://www.botskool.com/images/elec/ioi85.jpg)
and the microcontroller board picture (http://www.botskool.com/images/elec/ioi86.jpg)

Hey bharatgarg, By lined pin

Hey bharatgarg,

By lined pin sets, I guess you mean some pins are grouped together (enclosed inside a rectangle). Yes it has been done so to show that they collectively form different ports of the micro-controller.

To which circuit diagram are you referring?

http://www.botskool.com/tutor

http://www.botskool.com/tutorials/electronics/8051/input-output-instruct...

the image of microcontroller board shown in it has some of the pins lined together and 2-3 pins at some gap.

do these lined pin sets show P(0,1,2,3)? ASKING THIS BCOZ CIRCUIT DIAGRAM SHOWS A DIFFERENT CONFIGURATION.

I am totally new in field of

I am totally new in field of robotics.

I am trying to make a line follower. I saw the circuit diagram shown in tutorials but not able to assemble the parts.

someone kindly upload or give link of photos/vedios of assembled components.

Re: OP-AMP problem

Hi royrude,

sorry for the late reply

Kindly check the power and current requirements of LM324 and ensure that the power supply is sufficient enough to deliver optimum power to the LM324 as well. Otherwise it may also happen because of over-loading.

In case of over loading (where current flows through lower resistance side), we isolate these circuit components by using very high resistance. I think I have discussed on overloading in my earlier posts. Read more on it and hopefully you can get 4.7-4.9 Volt output.

Best of luck.

OP-AMP problem

I am having some problems with my OP-AMP (LM-324N).There is around a 1.23 V drop from voltage applied to the Vcc. I can't understand the problem. With Vcc=5V , output is coming around 3.7 V.And if one of the outputs is high, all other outputs also go high, Please tell me the problem.

Hi Neha, These

Hi Neha,

These criminals/objects that you want to detect, do they have a unique or common property?
